"Train up a child in the way he should go..."
In addition to having an excellent Sunday School program, we offer Next Generation a children's program on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. Our children’s ministry isn’t designed to merely keep kids occupied, but to teach them the great truths of Scripture. As with all of our ministries, the aim is to make disciples by teaching God’s Word. The book of Proverbs says to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” We believe, then, that it is vitally important to train our children at a young age. This is why in addition to having snacks and a short time of worship, we work through lessons that are focused on God's Word. These lessons, along with Scripture memorization, teach the kids what it means to see God's Word as precious and to treasure it in their hearts.
